Long Lineage of Coffee

My family is from El Salvador, where every family member in some way or form worked the seasonal coffee harvests in the last century. Today, we travel to origin and buy directly from a small coffee farm in Juayua, Sonsonate El Salvador and bring the beans to Los Angeles to serve the community of El Sereno and neighboring cities.

Testimonials

Love this spot and so happy they opened up in our neighborhood! The drinks are really good, and I got coffee beans for home that made really delicious coffee. Also the guy running it is very sweet, you can tell he deeply loves coffee.

Luis was amazing and very professional and made our birthday event great. All the guests were really happy as well. His drinks and coffee service were a hit! I really liked that he was very punctual and pretty much took care of it! Definitely will have him again.

Where do I begin? I wish I could give Mobar 10 stars... I booked them for my New Years Eve party and am so grateful for Luis. He made the booking and planning process so easy and stress free. His set up was so classy and added the perfect touch to my party!! My guests are still talking about the friendly bartender that made those delicious drinks and incredible coffee. Thank you for everything Mobar!

About Me

MY NAME IS Luis

I started working in the kitchen and bar when I was twenty one, but even before I was working in hospitality I was always drawn towards the arts. Whether it was skating, music or cooking. My grandpa established my love for music when I was really young, back when we all I wanted to do was play with toys and run outside. He would make me practice my scales and techniques before I was allowed to go with my friends, which really paid off later in life. Music was my introduction to art and overall culinary art. My mom was always the cook of the house and one of my favorite things to do is to cook with her. As her questions and learn the Central American Cuisines. Coffee came around in my early twenties and I fell in love with everything about coffee. I’ve been servicing the greater Los Angeles area for over 5 years with our mobile beverage catering business and just opened our families first store front in El Sereno, CA.
